A career decision is usually not a single event.  Good career choices take place over a period of time as you mature personally and develop in your chosen career. The two do not necessarily happen simultaneously. Some people can make sound career choices in their mid-teens while others might make them somewhat later. There are even those who follow a more dynamic and non-linear career progression. The point is to get you started on a path so that you can follow a career path that is suited to you.  Either way, professional career guidance is essential if you want to make wise and informed career decisions.

“Don’t ask kids what they want to be when they grow up. Ask them what problems they want to solve. This changes the conversation from who to work for, to what skills you need to learn to solve the problem.”
